I continue that tradition and sometimes use that as a pizza topping and I actually feel my arteries sigh with relief. So healthy! Also, leaving your lawn wild and letting the dandelions do thier thing is very beneficial for honeybees. Honeybees come out of their winter and the first important nectar and pollen source is dandelion. They need them! They want them! Let them grow and leave a part of your garden wild and you will be pleasantly surprised to see what your local wildlife thinks of this. All good for all.
