Mitch Hedberg is seriously funny sh*t. He’s known for his abrupt transitions, rhythmic one-liners, rose-colored glasses, and witty observations about mundane things. I enjoy him because he was the unofficial food lover’s comedian. The man loved eating, and had a comic brain to reflect on the inconveniences of being stoned and trying to procure food.

As for his new album, Do You Believe in Gosh , every comedian has unfunny jokes. Why’d you go and taint his good record after he died? Cause that just isn’t cool. Here are a couple of his best.

“I eat a lot of sandwiches. Who doesn’t, man? Sandwiches are easy to eat. But I hate sandwiches at New York delis. Too much meat on the sandwich. It’s like a cow with a cracker on either side. ‘What would you like, sir?’ A pastrami sandwich. ‘Anything else?’ Yea, a loaf of bread, and some other people.”
